10. Happy as a.....?

you decide how happy am I xD

finally bought my Christmas present with inu inu at Pyramid xD
and I chose the Panasonic GF1 instead of the Nex 5

the reason why I really absolutely chose the Panasonic GF1
it's a long story.. so bear with me xD
i check out the price of the GF1 at Lowyat first, and a dude gve me a best offer, Rm2500
then I was happy la can get so cheap*original price RM3000+* but they only give me 8gb and bag and it was far to go get it
few days later went to pyramid to watch Narnia *will talk about it later lol*
so went to check out the price of the GF1
GF1 was RM2699; comes with everything in the box, extra original battery, tripod, bag pack, leather body casing and a cleaning kit.
*the best deal was the extra battery weh*
went home told my mom about the price difference
and she said it depends on me where I wanna get the GF1
I was determine to get it at Pyramid lol
and Thank God I did haha
Inu called them today afternoon to reassure the gifts that were given with the package
and so ngam*coincidentally* another guy pick up the phone and gave a lower price, RM2500
O----O right then with extra original battery pack.. I told Inu i'm gonna get it lol
so rush to pyramid, withdraw cash from the ATM, and paid it in cash, cause they charge 5% for 0%interest plan so yea..

09. Dilemma...

yup... Oh crap...

WARNING! this post is gonna be long.. and it's me comparing cameras
don't flame unnecessarily okay? it's all my opinion =)

moving on, I never knew getting a new camera is so hard (@.@)"
been searching for a camera for the past 1 week?
i check websites, reviews and even on Youtube to check what camera is good
so far now I'm torn between the Panasonic Lumix GF1 and the Sony Nex 5

I was first interested on the Sony Nex 5 because of the design
oh the sleek design of the Nex 5, so entrancing xD

So nice!! x3

when I found these pictures of the Nex 5, I completely fell in love with it
even though the flash looks kinda plasticky, I don't care! It was cute and good that it could be use as a DSLR
and the picture with the mic with on the Nex 5, I thought about the versatility of the Nex 5 and was really impressed with it
and the back screen! omgosh, can be tilt up! =3 so different xD
*all was based on first impression of the camera, I did not meant to offend anyone with this post*

then out of the blue, Panasonic GF1 came in to my mind..
It was because I've been searching reviews about the Nex 5 non-stop
and there were good and bad stuff about it
so I saw a review comparing the Nex 5 with the GF1
and the GF1 was definitely the better choice of it
then I started to search more information about the Panasonic GF1


I fell in love with the GF1 because
1st: there were 3 colour options; red, white and black
*unlike the Nex 5, there were only black and silver; the typical colours for a camera
2nd: the GF1 is good in low light situations! *with the 20mm lens*
imagine all the night shots i could take =)
3rd: the POP up flash is nice? okay I admit it, It's damn CUTE!
4th: the lens for the GF1 are changeable with an adapter*which can be bought at lowyat* and you can use that specific adapter to use other DSLR lens! how great is that?!
I have a pair of Zuiko lens for my SLR and the GF1 + with that adapter I am able to use it!
so definitely it was so much cheaper than getting a zoom lens for it or buying another lens.
**the Nex 5 also have an adapter for the camera but only Sony and Minolta SLR lenses lens can only be used which is quite expensive for me to get 1**

so these 4 reason was why I like the GF1
but because of the price of the GF1, it made me thought twice;whether I should really go for it
the Nex 5 Twins lens *pancake lens and the zoom lens* totals up to RM2699, the best price for it and the GF1 with only the pancake lens *20mm* it like RM2699 O-----O
I nearly stop breathing when I saw the price..
money wise, it's a good choice to go for the Nex 5;2 lens for RM2699 instead of 1 lens for RM2699

sigh...~
now dilemma la... don't know which 1 to get..
keep reading reviews about these two camera also make me sot liao haha
